Re: Jono Marsh playing this week
Good on him. Great story. Hopefully takes his second chance and smashes it on Saturday. We have some really inspiring stories coming in this year, with so many of the mature age recruits getting a game so quickly. Must be bringing in a really positive vibe to the club.

Re: Jono Marsh playing this week
his draft highlight real looks impressive- size, quickness and a great fend off! Kicking action also looks solid.
He may have lost a little zip as he has put on muscle in the few years that have passed, still could be exciting!
This is obviously the year to sort out who will be in our flag winning 2020 side.
With now 2 Jacks sidelined spots open for the mids/smalls as well. Hind in as well?
I suspect the early season form will turn a little ugly as the impact of Paddy, Robbo, Jake, Jack and Hanners all missing for much of this year will be a hard psychological hurdle to overcome.

So Lonie & Steven out injured/ ill.
Marsh in, assume Marshall in.
Doesn’t look like any other debuts.
Bruce & Longer?
Who else comes in?

Good luck Jonno.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Jono Marsh playing this week
Marsh left Collingwood because of "mental health issues".
Now he will play for us.
Jack Steven has stood down indefinitely because of "mental health issues".
I wonder if the problem is related to shell shock suffered by the ANZACs of old.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: a reaction to the intensity of the bombardment and fighting that produced a helplessness appearing variously as panic and being scared, flight, or an inability to reason, sleep, walk or talk.

Loved it when Richo said "Well done big fella" or something along those lines.

Paddy and Robbo are still on the list in name only.6621104 wrote: ↑Thu 02 May 2019 6:59pm his draft highlight real looks impressive- size, quickness and a great fend off! Kicking action also looks solid.

Their careers are finished already, but Paddy has a contract for next year and Robbo for another year after that.
Once these guys leave the club the money stops.
They are in no hurry to leave but should be exploring future employment opportunities already.
They may leave for a lump sum payment that should not be a problem for our 2019 salary cap unless our list managers have overpaid for mediocrity elsewhere.

Re: Jono Marsh playing this week
He missed pre-season, we only got him after all the beach wrestling etc...
Be interesting to see how he performs on Sat.
I think he did pre-season with a VFL club before we threw him the lifeline

His team did nude pillow fighting during their pre-season so he should be good to go.

Re: Jono Marsh playing this week
Jeez team sport is a brutal game.
Coach leans forward, shakes hand, "Thanks for your contribution Dylan". Turns around 180 degrees, leans forward, shakes hand, "Welcome to the team for this week Jonathon".
Happens everywhere but it must be hard on all of those directly involved.

Re: Jono Marsh playing this week
Absolutely delighted. How mature does he sound for somebody his age?
He sounds clear-headed, focused and ready. With such an athletic frame, I'm hoping that he'll blossom into a very reliable prospect in the years to come.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.
