I felt in the JLT we were hunting the opposition, our pressure and intesity was up. Last week team selection and the way we played was just like last year. Maybe its because we played GC and were expected to win. This week we are underdogs I hope we come out firing and take the game on. It will be a great win if we can do it.

Need to forget about the situation and who we are playing and concentrate on playing our footy. The hard hunting brand that was seen In JLT. We rock up to play we can beat any one

A good team dictates the games- we don't want to be just a reactive team. I reckon the Bombers will try and use speed against us- lots of run and spread, uncontested possessions. Our forwards need to really lock down and keep the ball in there- and kick goals early

Each player should be desperate to win their first contest with their direct opponent. Do that and we'll be on our way. First 10 minutes will be huge IMO.

Right..given that they (the bombers) will be probably charge out of the gate if any of the external pressure (about their lack of intensity last week) influences them.

I think if we just charge head-on back at them like mad dogs ourselves we get reports, injuries and then drop our heads later? being pussy-like? maybe...

I'm thinking a nuanced approach - elastic defence - is better, but maybe I'm over thinking it. Obviously we don't wanna go into our shells. We wanna shine like those JLT games.I don't wanna concede scores and be down 5 goals by quarter time. So i'm thinking of varied tempo approach.

Great fear exists for this game all based around the opposition performance last week and the noise from the media.

Yes they will be stung by things but really if you have 6 months to prepare and then need a kicking to fire up there is something wrong deeper .

That said i think they are a 4-5 goal better team. The fear is that if they kick 3 in 5 minutes our heads drop , theirs get up and about and things get scary. Their strength is midfield and i think is a weakness of ours.

Play the game we want to play and be hard at the contest. Steel to Merrett is a must.

Actually, based on the shellacking they gave us late last season, I wasn't worried. I was resigned. But suddenly, thanks to JLPT and their performance last week I'm like, hey! ..wait a minute!

After the game against EFC last year they simply must win this game - no valiant efforts
