Re: Titus O’reilly
Is Scully 100% though?
I get the feeling Hannebery could probably play but he would only be at 80-90% and they don't want him to get injured.
Good luck to both players in any case though.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Titus O’reilly
I hope not however, I can't help but think that Scully will not only play more games for the Dawks than Hanneberry for us but, those games will be of a higher quality that helps elevates his team's ladder position. Well, that is a given really. Hardly earth shattering news.Saintmatt wrote: ↑Fri 29 Mar 2019 12:58pmI hope not however, I can't help but think that Scully will not only play more games for the Dawks than Hanneberry for us but, those games will be of a higher quality that helps elevates his team's ladder position. Re: Titus O’reilly
Comparing Hanners and Scully isn't really fair IMO.
Word out is that Scully's ankle was stuffed. It will be interesting to see how he goes. Maybe the Hawks are happy for him to be 70-80% of the player he was at his best.

Re: Titus O’reilly
I'm not sure how that was "a given" when Hanneberry has a 5 year contract on sizeable money and Scully has a 3 year deal on not the same coin.saynta wrote: ↑Fri 29 Mar 2019 1:04pmWell, that is a given really. Usually, expected output and quality thereof is reflected in contract length and terms. Hardly earth shattering news ....

On Friday, Saints coach Alan Richardson said star recruit Dan Hannebery “needs to be rebuilt”.tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Fri 29 Mar 2019 10:57am

Probably need to refer to the coaches assessment on Dans fitness Ted.
It seems Dan is 6 weeks away at least from playing according to most media reports.

Re: Titus O’reilly
Tom Scully's return stinks to High Heaven. This is a dodge deal and very suspect on so many levels. Clearly Hanners is not suspect as blind Freddie could have worked out that this deal was best avoided but we had to land a “name”.

Haha..
Honestly though, this Scully trade should be investigated by the AFL, dodgiest trade since the Lockie Veale deal.. And lets face it, Scully has a history of being involved in sneaky dealings (remember his father got a job at gws)

To be fair Cho stated that he can train and run and do everything, but when he gets his running up to 30km or whatever, his hammies and calves blow out (paraphrasing).Joffa Burns wrote: ↑Fri 29 Mar 2019 5:46pmOn Friday, Saints coach Alan Richardson said star recruit Dan Hannebery “needs to be rebuilt”.tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Fri 29 Mar 2019 10:57am

I took it similar to Ted, in that he probably could play but he can't go full pelt.
