Shiel return to Vic
Maybe he is coming back to Vic after all. Possibly due to cap pressure and rising talent.
This story will gain spice like a hot Vindaloo curry over the next few weeks.
I would like Hanners to come to the Saints, but I would take Shiel over him.

Not if you offer a $1 mil at 7 years...plus a mansion at Brighton.

Re: Shiel return to Vic
You'd take Shiel over Hanners. Really?
Please don't answer. I was being sarcastic. I was hoping for a link or something original. Regret opening the thread.

Re: Shiel return to Vic
He could get that kind of offer at the Kangas and probably close to at the Dees and Hawthorn. It would have to be something like $1.3 to $1.5 mill to get him even remotely interested.parkeysainter wrote: ↑Thu 23 Aug 2018 2:20pmNot if you offer a $1 mil at 7 years...plus a mansion at Brighton.

Re: Shiel return to Vic
Forget Hannebery as a main target. Just get Shiel, Gaff and Polec. Maybe Townsend or Hall as well. Hannebery can come as experienced steak knives. Or McVeigh. They should put me in charge of recruiting and trading. It would be too easy. No-one knows recruiting and trading better than me. Trust me.

Re: Shiel return to Vic
If GWS's salary cap is as tight as it sounds we should be talking to Kelly as well. I'd take him or Shiel in a heartbeat. If they just need cap space surely it bother them too much which one they lose.

Re: Shiel return to Vic
I know I'm a pessimist but consider this :-
Sheill played the first couple of seasons at GWS getting smashed and being joked about then the last
couple of years getting that winning feeling. Is he really going back to a losing side ?
He'll demand big money wherever he goes.

Looks like we’ll have Lethers, Hanners, Seeders and Sheilers next year.parkeysainter wrote: ↑Thu 23 Aug 2018 2:07pm Maybe he is coming back to Vic after all. Possibly due to cap pressure and rising talent.

Are we in the box seat to get Sheilers parkey?
What’s your inside goss?
Surely it’s not this?

I’d give up first round this year, first and second round next year plus Longer or Hickey (whichever they want) for Sheil & Setterfield.

Gee, I hear team Liberal is looking to trade EMPTY.
Problem is he refuses to play to the team game plan.
Refuses to pass the ball off to players in better position.
