Bloody great day down at Sandy Oval on Sunday. Played in true digger and ANZAC spirit! The Last Post went fairly well although the young fella on the bugle was a little off tune! Ha! Weather was flaming great. As the old proverb goes "When dew is on the grass, Rain will never come to pass."
Spoke to Richo on the wing. Told him what was wrong with parts of the Sainters game plan and who should be in/out for a few minutes! HA! Think he agreed on some points but a great chat nonetheless. Didn't bother with Spin King Warnie or the Sheik of Tweek or whatever he is bloody called these days. Liz Hurley was a good scalp but! Ha!
Some flaming good players running around on Sunday. Real suburban mud and guts footy on display too. Remember to tip the bloody hat and raise a glass of beer for the young and old diggers. Past and present!
