Kardinia Park Next Week

Post: # 1718425Post samuraisaint »

I hope that the coaches are well aware that Geelong have done things like this in the past. If not, I am posting these match videos so that, in the unlikely event that they scrutinise this site, will be woken up to the potential a shocker down there could produce:

Geelong V Richmond 2007

Geelong V Melbourne 2011

Geelong V Us in 2002 (I was there that day unfortunately)

Now, Ablett, Guthrie, Cockatoo were all injured today in Perth and Rhys Stanley had to pull out just before the game with a problem, so we will at least be playing Geelong with an unsettled line up. They will absolutely try to blow us out of the water in the first ten minutes so Richo and the assistants will need to ensure that every player who lines up down at Geelong next Sunday is revved up and willing to run through walls for the Shield and Ribbon.
I am somewhat relieved that the Gazza Jr Prodigal Son Returns Show won't be playing next week to be brutally honest, because he would have been absolutely on fire down there.

Add another tragic chapter to our comical history.

"Is this the right room for an argument?"
"I told you once."
"No, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"Listen, an argument isn't just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says, it's a series of statements designed to support a particular conclusion."
"No, it isn't."
"Oh, I've had enough of this."
"No you haven't"
"Oh shut up."

Doesn't have to be that way Drake. I was also down there for this ripper:

Maybe after watching the other three clips, Richo shows this clip to the boys at training to rev 'em up.

It's not "our" history, it is St Kilda club's. And the club can either try and do something for the rest of year or 2019 or might as well say goodbye.

Good one Samarai !
I was there too :-)
So I have seen us win there twice.
The other was when we were way down at 3/4 time, kicking against the wind in the last and Garry Hocking ironed out Harves, off the ball at a throw in right in front of me.
We out scored them and won.

There is no better feeling than a win down there.
Hang on... one better :-)

C'mon Saints - watch this one for a bit of inspiration! Watched this one from the Ponsford stand.

Love Gwilt - complaining to ump about free paid to Selwood - what can I do if he ducks his head?
