Re: Nic on Fox
Eddie finally got his man. At least he is wearing a shirt, not a black and white jumper. Pleased he has stayed away from 7 - to scripted and robotic. I far prefer to watch Fox Footy where there is freedom of speech as well as plenty of knowledge.

Awesome!
I assumed he’d be on 7, but he’s too good for them

Big Nick will end up making more money post footy the way he is going. Good on him.

I hope he retains some involvement with the club. Part-time mentoring or in development would be ideal.
"Is this the right room for an argument?"
"I told you once."
"No, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"Listen, an argument isn't just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says, it's a series of statements designed to support a particular conclusion."
"No, it isn't."
"Oh, I've had enough of this."
"No you haven't"
"Oh shut up."

Re: Nic on Fox
Future Saints head coach perhaps...but I guess it didn't work out well for player legends like Watson, Hird and Voss.
Nick would garner massive respect. He is very well spoken, intelligent and knows footy. A deadset potential head coach.

Re: Nic on Fox
I guess the newbies to the Saints from this year on will miss out crayfishing and bonding with Roo at his shack in TassieDrake Huggins wrote:I hope he retains some involvement with the club. Part-time mentoring or in development would be ideal.
I’m sure that was a wonderful experience delivered by Roo to newbies.
I heard him mentioning that he would be heading off to the United Sates of A after he had finished his commitments re his book launch tour and remain there for a few months. So no crayfish on the menu for this years young recruits and listening to the gospel according to Saint Nick

One of his Commentary colleagues announced

GARRY Lyon has left Channel Nine after 23 years for the lure of commentating on Fox Footy.
In a blow to Nine’s popular Footy Classified program, Lyon will be joining retired St Kilda champion Nick Riewoldt in a new Fox Footy line-up next year.
“You don’t make those decisions lightly,’’ Lyon said.

Yep. I hope he does have cause to, but if he does he needs to go hard. If we're not mature enough to accept it, it's our problem. I'll be VERY interested in his footy opinions, especially on the Saints. And I'll be really disappointed if they come across as sugar coated
