Ameet Bains- Bulldogs do it again
Ameet Bains is taking the CEO position at Bulldogs a month before the AFL draft.
Another excellent person leaving remember we released Luke Beveridge before he even started a day at our club.
Timing terrible and from all accounts an excellent operator.

Can't these arseholes pick from their own backyard?
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Big loss but he can be replaced. It was only a matter of time before he got poached for a CEO or AFL role such is his talent.
Guess all those Saints fans that thought he was no good will be happy now. Hmph.

Re: Ameet Bains- Bulldogs do it again
Jaxons, in his final post,
in response to
The criticism of Jaxons and Ameet Bains has been deplorable
made a cryptic comment:
"And if only you knew the link between Ameet and Jaxons it is quite ironic!"
then he said in reference to revealing tidbits of trade info
"However ‘due to the eat your Own nature” of some here all of that has now ceased"
So Jaxons is actually Bains.
And he's leaving not because of criticism by Con, Drake, myself, and a large number of others, but because he's the new boss of the Dog Turds.
The "I have had a gutful" is a convenient excuse for leaving.
He will still visit here for a gander, but won't post again, I'd imagine

2020 was an aberration, when we travelled twice to Adelaide and won both, beat Tigers early, beat our bogey Swans. 2021 we've returned to our old ways. Damn

He is a loss because of his IP, but the cemetery is full of indispensable people. All the best, Ameet. Thanks for your service.
"Is this the right room for an argument?"
"I told you once."
"No, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"Listen, an argument isn't just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says, it's a series of statements designed to support a particular conclusion."
"No, it isn't."
"Oh, I've had enough of this."
"No you haven't"
"Oh shut up."

Everybody these days works under the ever-watchful eye of the KPI demon.Drake Huggins wrote:He is a loss because of his IP, but the cemetery is full of indispensable people. All the best, Ameet. Thanks for your service.
Except Bains appears to be immune and exempt from KPI and is apparently above reproach.
He has really underachieved and really should be embarrassed when he gets his payslip

I like Bains but people talk about him like he is some god you’d think he is Jeans or Baldock the way people carry on.
He isn’t the whole club either no one is indispensable so as adults we move on find someone else and quit sooking.

It'll be his last club role before heading off to the AFL Commission, you can count on it.

Ameet Bains leaving Saints -Damn.
Disappointed to hear Ameet leaving us for a CEO job on the other end of town.
Hoping we can keep developing on the recruitment front.
we need as many good brains in the brain trust as we can manage.
Best of luck to us come the Draft.

Strange he obtained a CEO job then, also Hawthorn was most interested. Top operator and will be hard to replace.MickThomas wrote:Everybody these days works under the ever-watchful eye of the KPI demon.Drake Huggins wrote:He is a loss because of his IP, but the cemetery is full of indispensable people. With Hawthorn, Collingwood and Carlton all looking for new CEOs, no surprise to lose him. The only surprise is to lose him to the Dogs. Good luck to him in dealing with The Emperor.

THE Western Bulldogs have appointed highly-rated St Kilda executive Ameet Bains to their vacant chief executive’s role.
It is understood the appointment of Bains, who is the Saints’ chief operating officer, could be announced as early as Monday, with the Bulldogs confident they have found the right man.
He will become the Bulldogs’ fourth chief executive across the past three seasons, with Gary Kent announcing late in the season he was stepping away from the role before the start of next football season.

Turns out he's just a run of the mill AFL boys club company man.

Re: Ameet Bains- Bulldogs do it again
Any possibility that he's jumped ship because the rebuild has failed?
And that's why we're going to the draft with so many picks? Because the window is still years away?
And the club is reluctant to admit that, for obvious reasons?

God you're negatives comments are just getting real old. Surely Ameet, like every other person in this country, is entitled to change jobs in order to advance his career.Con Gorozidis wrote:I thought she was a guru and a master and dedicated to the saints cause?
