Does that carlton turd not bear any responsibility for what he did/said to Carlisle while he's lying motionless on the ground??? If he is captain, then he should be bigger than sooking about sledges.

At all levels, players get sledged, they cop everything about their mothers, their sisters, etc. and they deal with it. Now racial stuff is out of bounds, that's fine.

But apart from that, are we going to set up a complex rule book for this?? Maybe we should have a detailed list of items you can and can't say to an oppo player??? And run clinics on this each week.

It's a while back but Paul Roos's behaviour at junior football in Sydney was appalling. He came out as holier than thou in his usual sanctimonious way, until additional evidence of his behaviour was documented.

All we can know with any certainty is that the Carlton captain mouthed off or spat at a player who was motionless on the ground after having his knackers turned into a necklace.

To me this is the crux of the issue...

If the sledging went on all day, ok whatever... the reason the issue has come to the for is because he essentially targeted a player that was down and really hurt... everything else is just a deflection

IMHO, Paul Roos = one of the most overrated people in football. Both as a player, and as a coach.

Not saying he was a dud, but definitely saying he's overrated.
