This would be a relevant question if the OP was talking about Collingwood or Richmond.
Unfortunately those Clubs are too idiotic to do what they need to do.

All jokes aside and DEFINATELY I won't be giving you any names but one of the above has made contact with the club in regards to perhaps an assistant role and another one on the list is being "actively" sought after to join our coaching panel.
I kid you not.

Probably if I was someone with AFL coaching experience- senior or assistant, I would be excited to see what's bubbling at StK and would want to be involved in a team showing real potential to contest finals in the next couple of years. I bet more aspiring coaching types will be contacting the club in the next few months.

Banger is going to be replaced by Sanderson at Filthville so he's an obvious candidate. I'm not sure whether he's a great addition though... wonderful player & clubman but can he actually coach?

Thanks Tony.
So I guess Robert reached out to see if there is a spot.
And we would be after Gary Ayers.
I always thought he knew what he was doing Ayersie.

Poach the best recruiters and you'll end up with the "best" coaches.

Might be chasing
Ayres to coach Sandy.

The only two on that list i'd want as assistants are harvey and dew.

I bet that Harvey has contacted the Club and we're after Dew (most likely) or Voss.

Re: Who willbe coaching the Saints in 2017?
I actually worry about Harvey coming back, that's got nothing to do with him personally, more The Club. I am comfortable & confident in the current leadership/administration at Tte Club and rapt with Richo as a Coach.
However, Richo commences his 4 year as Coach next year and I'm acutely aware that aside from Allan Jeans, no Coach has lasted more than 5 years as St Kilda Coach. Nothing to be proud of.
I am concerned that if there should be hiccups in the next couple of years, we may get restless and meltdown as usual, sack Richo and appoint Harvey as The Messiah. I hope that culture is firmly and forever history, but one cannot help feeling apprehensive.
For now, as much as I love & respect him, I'd prefer that he didn't return as a Coach.

I hope it's Bummer Thompson and he brings some meds for the players.
It's not like the AFL will be able to catch us until a decade after we've won 3 flags on the trot due to some chemical help

We still have one home and away remaining, plus a 1 in 1 millionth chance of qualifying for the finals. Try not to blow your load too soon, old son!Locals322 wrote:It's the off-season

What the f*** is this?
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.
