Re: VFL Rd 19 Sandringham vs Box Hill Sunday 14th
With the Seniors playing on Saturday and Sandy on Sunday, no emergencies have to sit out the game. Thus unless there are late changes, we will have the maximum 16 playing for Sandy seniors, and 5 ( including Joe Baker-Thomas ) in the Dev Team. One would hope that will lead to some good results.

Did anyone see Freezer in the Devs? Did he get up to half pace yet? How much game time did they give him>
So glad though he's made it through so many in a row, even on restricted duties.

Shenton came from Norwood as a forward who had had some big goal kicking games but lacked consistency (and sometimes when it was most required).

Bailey and Brandon both had really good games, as did Jimmy Webster. Jimmy may have been reported in the third quarter.HitTheBoundary wrote:And 22 to Rice.saynta wrote:24 possession to White. Not bad
Would not be surprised to see Billy Longer in for the next two games if Hickey is done for the year.

Re: VFL Rd 19 Sandringham vs Box Hill Sunday 14th
Was impressed with Webster, White and Rice and thought Sinclair was serviceable.
All of the rucks were below par, though Marc Pittomet was the best bigman.
Webster, White and Rice are crazy courageous.

White, Rice. Eli, Sincs. Lonie, Pierce all doing great - give these talented cats a go Richo!!! Oh yeah they don't bring enough "pressure". Lets just recruit some failed 100m olympic runners if all you want any old player who can run quick to bring pressure. What about valuing pure footy players who know what to do with the footy when they've got it. Yeah they may not bring you instant results but will give you much better footy players in a few years who can actually keep the footy and use it intelligently. But no keep going with Wright who can' decide what to do with it but boy isn't he good when we don't have the ball. The more we don't have it the better our team is, is that the logic Richo????

Re: VFL Rd 19 Sandringham vs Box Hill Sunday 14th
White and Rice need another pre-season. One or both had glandular fever at the start of season 2016.
Lonie and Sincs have been give a lot of senior game time this year. They are both stars of the future and I think giving them a few weeks in the VFL to work on what is required is fine. Another pre-season into both boys and I am looking forward to 2017. They both have skills and endeavour but will be less likely to be rag dolled.
Eli is the one I would like to see get another crack this year. He's worked hard, has starred in recent weeks and deserves the reward for effort.
Lewie needs another game this year too.

What the hell is this post about?
Bring them all in and drop half the team. Some think they can pick a side of 28 each week.
