According to some on BF forums they saw him walking around fine, so chances are it was tightness. We have been super cautious with just about every niggle this pre season so not surprised they pulled him out. chances are he was going to start at least the first couple games of his season in the Vfl anyway so there is no huge rush to get him primed for AFL round 1.

We'll find out by tomorrow how severe it is. Fingers crossed it'll only mean a couple of weeks on the sidelines. Will be spewing if he has to miss a portion of the home and away season. This year seems so crucial for his development as a senior player.

Doubt he'll play NAB. Maybe round 1 but could even give him another couple of weeks. No point taking risks. When you see "expect x weeks" that's always just a minimum. We could give that Reevolt guy a go on the forward line in his place - might do ok.

It was a relief to hear that his hamstring doesn't seem like it'll be a long-term issue. Was funny to see Paddy was wearing a Boston Red Sox cap when speaking to the press about it. I could have sworn I saw him wear a Yankee hat last year during the pre-season. Gotta pick a side and stick with it, Paddy!
