sometime i think people get caught up in the 'we must win this chase' and go overboard in exaggerating player abilities, a decent Essendon mate describe Carlisle like this: 'expensive and unproven'

The Herald Sun article says Billings dad, Graeme, is a well-connected Bomber supporter. Let's hope this won't be a problem.

IMO it would be a disastrous trade for us because the kid has shown what a match-winner he can be. As someone else said, that is a rare commodity.

Also we have some good key-position players coming through in Bruce, Goddard and hopefully McCartin. Plus Tom Lee and Delaney are still on the list.

We need more midfield class, pace and polish. Not less.
