The least of our issues. Need to get rid of a few before worrying about him.try no 14
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Re: Seb Ross
Poor disposal by both hand and foot today - as usual. Slow compared to others his size.
Not sure whether he will make it.
If we compare the "skill" of many of our players to Freo, unfortunately, we have a very long way to go.

Re: Seb Ross
I would rather see him do well but it is not going to happen! Time for Saints to trade him why he has some currency and put games into other players eg Murdoch, Saunders.

Re: Seb Ross
Slow, no impact, and cant spread.
Really poor today and is just not up to it.
Wanted him to prove me wrong but is really poor.
Delist.

Re: Seb Ross
Ross is a little slow but his disposal is usually pretty solid.
He will be a key player for us in a couple of years time so I say keep the faith.

Gees it wouldnt have had much sweat on it the guy never gets out of a trot - but maybe that is his full pace?mambo2706 wrote:I have one of his match worn jumpers from a couple of years ago and so for selfish reasons I really want him to succeed. Unfortunately I can't see him making it.

I'm hoping Jimmy Gwilt gets another year for the Dopers. They could recruit Seb and CJ as a core defensive unit

Re: Seb Ross
Seb has been in the system a little while now, and probably needs to push himself a bit harder and get consistency into his game, otherwise he will be back in the VFL

Wow haters hey?
I want every Saints player to succeed. I don't think Ross will.
Have always said would love for him to prove me wrong, but unfortunately is not doing so.
Reckon he is too slow, doesn't get enough of the ball, his opponent runs off him, and he cant spread.
Apart from that he is fantastic.

Re: Seb Ross
Was one of our worst yesterday, seemed to handball to players feet (wasn't alone) and hasn't done a lot apart from that quarter as a sub and the Essendon game.
I'm losing faith but given his serious hamstring issue at the start of the year I won't be writing him off. Hopefully he can have a really strong preseason and get the best out of himself next year.

Re: Seb Ross
Interesting then that the coach praised Seb in his post match message to members, said he provided a lot of run!

He was one of our better players. The Coach is the one I think is worth listening to.Kernal75 wrote:Is he too slow for AFL football? He might be good in tight but his possessions don't hurt you an he can't spread from the contest?

Shows why he is a coach and I am a ball watching armchair critic I suppose.
