Im sure it will happen sooner rather than later after all he is unrestricted FA at the end of next season. He can just walk in other words. We cant match it.

Front Load it if possible over the next 2-3 years while we have the salary cap to do so.

I'll raise you to $11 million dollars over 10 years!

Arimitage is actually a great reason of why you do not want to tank!!!!!!!!

If the Saints were focussed on dropping games, as some seem to desire, then with a player like Armo who is now 27 he could well conclude that the Saints are hopeless and if he wants finals and maybe a flag too in his playing time that he best say grab a lucrative offer and join the Suns (who would really benefit from adding a mature player to their huge pool of young, but brittle talent), Pies or the Tigers, and even if that did not work out on the field, then off the field he would have hmore$$$$$.

But with the Saints playing well :
* He can see that he will be able to have crack at finals with the saints
*There wil be great team bonding occurring at present as there is nothing like playing well to make you enjoy playing the game more, and to get on better with your team-mates

Winning a back to back spoon would have made St Kilda a miserable place from a players perspective. You may have gained another No 1 Pick, but easily losta player like Armo at the top of his game, and at an age where he wiull play his best football.

Whereas with the form we are now exhibiting (and I do not just mean the wins) the players must be buzzing, and you can imagine that they will all want to go forward as a group.

Exactly but those not caring will tell you players can see you are better than what you are showing. I reckon that is a lot of crap. Winning helps everyone at the club except probably the recruiters.

If he wanted to leave he would have accepted Richmond's offer.
