Re: votes vs demons
Just the usual only cost us a couple of goals. No frees to Roo or Bruce again just defies logic.whiskers3614 wrote:How were the umps?CURLY wrote:Webster superb in keeping Garlett unsighted.

Re: votes vs demons
Hard to find anyone who played 100 minutes, and I wouldn't be surprised if Demons players get all the Brownlow votes...Vince, Jones & Hogan
Enjoyed Lonie's game.
Happy with Membrey playing the Hamil role
Dempster was good, so was Geary
Armitage and to a lesser extent, Jack Steven were pretty well held.
We would never have won without Joey & Roo

A good hard team effort .
Wasn't pretty at times but in the end our attack on the ball got us over the line .

Webster for his terrific stopping job on Garlett. He's racking up a few scalps.

Re: votes vs demons
Too many players went missing from half way through the second quarter, when we should have really been adding to our lead. The midfield were second to the ball for much of the game, and thankfully we were only playing an ordinary team.

Apologies to Webster,Geary,Weller and Lonie. Looks like we're a much more even side than in recent years.
