Re: DETAILS SAINTS v LIONS WEEKEND
Hi Saint Bev,
If I may take advantage of your local knowledge, my wife and I will be in Brisbane visiting my niece, and so we will be attending the game.
Looking at the Lions games on TV of late the ground has never looked full, and so is it ok to just arrive and buy tickets on the day? Or should I buy some online prior?
Thanks sRr

Re: DETAILS SAINTS v LIONS WEEKEND
sRr, I'd buy them online before hand. At the gate they may only sell you general admission where you'll either be sitting behind the goal at ground level at one end or up in the nose bleeds in the sun all day if it's sunny lol. I will be in the latter as it's easier to see the whole ground.
Bev, am going to register my 8 year old for the pre game guard of honour. If he's successful, I'm guessing I go into the rooms with him? Cheers and see youse there

with the guard of honor I am pretty sure you are given a wrist band to rpove that you can jump the fence. Once that is done you jump the fence to go back to your seat. this wont be a 'visiting room' option. it is just simply standing in a row for the players to run past before they run through the banner

Ah gotcha bro. I misread Bevs post and thought that seeing the players up close meant in the rooms lol. My son will be stoked anyway.Batnoe wrote:with the guard of honor I am pretty sure you are given a wrist band to rpove that you can jump the fence. Saintsrising, personally I think you would be fine to buy at the gate. Do your home work before so you have a good idea of the ground and what area you want to be in. However, I'm like Stevie I like to know before hand, its up to you.

Re the Guard of Honour, the children will be escorted onto the ground with a Club Representative, e.g. me lol. I imagine the parents will wait for them near the players race and we will escort them back to the parents once the players have run through the banner. A great experience for the kids and I was only to happy to help outstevie wrote:sRr, I'd buy them online before hand. I didn't write the above announcement. It is the official Club invitation. Yes it is for Members, the Club wants to reward them.
