Templeton was last year but hasn't been the same since his arm break. Worth giving lots of time to see if he can get that form back.

Kicked ourselves out of it. The older players really steadied the ship last week and unfortunately today we looked back to some youthful mistakes and a little disorganisation at times.

Probably shows where we are with players still developing. Billings has a spray-it kind of style kicking on goal. He kicks it powerfully but there is a certain amount of gambling in it. Reminds me of Buddy a bit. But as big game players they kick them when it matters. Newnes I think has an awkward kicking style that breaks down under pressure. Bruce is pretty good and should get even better. Schneider well...he's always been inconsistent so no surprise there. Away from home with a hostile crowd maybe it puts you off that little bit more. Even dead eye dick Sinclair was off his normal iceman kicking mode. The good thing is we still create lots of chances. That's been a joyous change after the Lyon era.

Kicking inside 50, and kicking to forwards on leads needs a lot of work. This must take precedence over the next pre-season. Need to work on these weaknesses.
