big spanner for us getting 4 and 7....
unless 1 goes to GWS and then to Wooders.
But do GWS want Griffen and Petracca?
Damian Barret claiming GWS will use 4 & 7 to Dogs for Griffen....
Will we then deal with woofers?
Plot really thickens!
Maybe the JC deal is still on!

That's gutsy by the Doggies - would be as big a loss as letting Steven go...but it's a good trade for GWS, they need high quality seasoned players of which Griffen is definately one...crikey, that'd be a big trade!! Enter stage left Jaxons...

Big thumbs down for McCartney
Big thumbs up for Leon Cameron
Surely they are spoon favourites along with the bombers now.

I reckon it's probably twice as big as Steven going, the blokes their captain.Saint wagga wrote:That's gutsy by the Doggies - would be as big a loss as letting Steven go...but it's a good trade for GWS, they need high quality seasoned players of which Griffen is definately one...crikey, that'd be a big trade!! Re: Spanner in the works
mmm...dont know I'd rate Griffen as a player that much higher and given he's 28, think he's closer to the physical slide than our Jacky boy! But thats a moot point - it's HUGE!!dragit wrote:I reckon it's probably twice as big as Steven going, the blokes their captain.Saint wagga wrote:That's gutsy by the Doggies - would be as big a loss as letting Steven go...but it's a good trade for GWS, they need high quality seasoned players of which Griffen is definately one...crikey, that'd be a big trade!! has to be double. Steven not even our leadership group. i know he won the b&f. But Griffen is their best player by miles.
2 x b&f
1 x AA (2013)

Rumoured trade for Jeremy Cameron.
Surely we can outbid the bulldogs for Cameron!

Re: Spanner in the works
Not certain to happen the way Peter Gordon's talking. Bulldogs are very unimpressed.
Griffin is contracted until the end of next year and they can play total hard ball. If he walks I reckon it will be for significant overs.
Tricky situation when your captain says he doesn't want to play for you any more and the Pres says he's a required player and has behaved very poorly.

Stuff him, he has a contract, they'd have to pay him out if they dumped him. Maybe give him the option to buy his contract out?

If I was a Poodle, my only further question would be... "Where do we sign?"

Re: Spanner in the works
I agree Dave. He's 28 yo and the dogs are in as much a rebuilding phase as us. To have 4,6 + 7 is massive !Dave McNamara wrote:Hi canna', am I reading that right? Picks 4&7 for Griffen?cannavaro17 wrote:4 and 7.... assuming this is based on the assumption they get it from carlton??
