Very strong senior side. Should be interesting. Good to see a few back.

Argggggggggh - frustrating! This game's in my backyard but at the same time as the Saints game. Have to bring in the helicopter!

Great to see hickey back in the vfl...all going well he could still whet our appetite for next year and beyond with a solid month of afl footy and that's being conservative!! Ditto Wright albeit via the 2's 2's!! I'm really looking forward to seeing if both he and Blake acres can quickly readjust to afl pace and push for 1st selection and like hickey something to really look forward too in the last 4-6 rounds of the year, getting games into the right guys!!

I will answer my own question he is an emergency along with Jones and Stanley. maybe Dunell will be the only emergency physically at the ground.

Any word on the dev game?

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Just checked true zebus twitter, and reads poorly.

Stanley Maister, Siposs yet to touch it 20 mins in.
We have 1 goal.

That's a strong Sandy team on paper, and should be a lot closer. No chance of a senior game if you don't put in.

St Kilda veteran Sam Fisher’s career is at the crossroads again after he failed to get through his return VFL match for Sandringham on Sunday because of back spasms as the Zebras fell to ninth spot after a 24-point loss to Williamstown.

Fisher, 31, had been sidelined by injuries since round 10 last season and played just a half for the Zebras. His previous comeback six weeks ago lasted just five minutes before re-injuring a hamstring against Essendon.

Saints development coach Simon McPhee was hopeful Fisher’s latest injury was ‘‘just a knock’’, but he will be sent for scans on Monday to determine the extent of it.

‘‘He’s a remarkable guy. He contributes so much to our club and our young players. I would imagine they would give him every opportunity to get over the injury and force his way back in. He was starting to look pretty good,’’ McPhee said.

Young Saint Daniel Markworth, who also has been cruelled by injury in recent times, suffered a hamstring injury in the first half after making an early impression.

Midfielder Adam Schneider collected 33 touches, while Dylan Roberton and Tom Curren each had 22.

McPhee said ruckman Jason Holmes was ‘‘influential’’ late in the match, while Tom Hickey got through unscathed. Spencer White also ‘‘did some good things’’ in his first VFL senior match on return from injury.

Can anyone confirm if Spencer White has put on a few kilos?
Looks like in the Sandy photos he has put a bit of upper body on?
