i actually forgot we are playing tonight
better set the box to record i guess

no way ill be able to get thru the night without knowing the score tho which shites me as i hate watching a game when you already know the result.

Big night for Siposs and Stanley. Both were very disappointing last year, but tonight along with Maister will be the targets up forward. Time for two much-hyped players to stand up.

We just had a big downpour in G'Town. Hopefully not too much more to come.

Don't want to see our fellas sliding around like an Aussie snowboarder

Couldn't be worse than Ross Lyon's coaching debut in Cairns.

Looking like a wet game - is a shame but as a player I loved playing on wet days is was what footy was about for me!

Looking forward to seeing the kids, the recruits and if I can detect anything new with Alan Richardson (please can we come up with a different nick name than Richo) coaching.
I don't want to get smashed tonight though, just a good competitive game. Mind you, quite happy if we smash the Dogs.

Bulldogs aren't catching a charter flight to Geelong?

This reminds me of a classic comment many, many years ago in a game in in the rain QLD. The players couldn't keep their feet and were sliding everywhere. Every time a player slid he would throw up a huge sheet of water.

The commentator (unfortunately, I can't remember who it was) just said in a perfectly straight voice - "Brisbane is kicking to the shallow end."
