I agree but sad to see the big fella go. It's a risk but you don't win priemiership without taking risks and making hard decisions.

Disagree. Apart from Steven, the only under 25 with any currency in the market.
Should have been building a team around him.

Strongly agree !
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!
Re: Agree or disagree on McEvoy trade
Wholeheartedly agree.
The age dynamic of Hickey and Mcevoy was all wrong. You can't have two genuine ruckmen coming into their primes at the same time.

Agree, now either trade for Billy Longer or play Stanley in the ruck, sometimes pushing forward,
for the ENTIRE season rather than all over the place,
or do both.

Re: Agree or disagree on McEvoy trade
Well one good thing about it is that we will no longer be preservering with Stanley as a defender, which he most definitely is not. So it is second ruck or nothing for Stanley.

Re: Agree or disagree on McEvoy trade
Oh my god I am so strongly against this.
If we lost McEvoy for 18 and Savage but keep Dal Santo over Pick 26 and Deleney there are some serious issues at our club.
I don't understand the logic of overpaying for Tom Hickey (Who I don't think will be as good as McEvoy anyway) and then having to undersell McEvoy to make room for him...
I was expecting to come on here and see the biggest shitstorm over this, shocked I'm the only one who seems to feel this way.
