I guess Wright couldn't get up. Big squad with Roo, Stanley, Hickey and McEvoy in the team. Surprised Milera made the cut. Emergencies?

Interchange: Saunders, Hickey, Milera, Murdoch
Emergencies: Siposs, Wright, Ross
Wonder whether Milera gets the sub vest again

Re: Round 16 Team v Carlton
Geez I hope Wright doesnt have any chronic back problems. The guy is going to be a ripper if he can have a decent run at it

Would think its a matter of strengthening his back through another good preseason. He'll be right!

Cheers. I can't imagine Wright missing out if fit. Surely he's pulled up sore? I'd like to see Ross come in but with Lenny back there doesn't appear to be a spot for him.MCG-Unit wrote:Emergencies: Siposs, Wright, Ross

Yes I'm surprised they left out Wright, maybe Milera lucky to hold his spotOld Mate wrote:Cheers. I can't imagine Wright missing out if fit. Surely he's pulled up sore? Re: Round 16 Team v Carlton
Simpkin really stuffed himself by that stupid suspension..
Time now served and not even an emergency...
Would've been in the following week, and who knows from there had he not punched Dawes.. Really coming back to bite him now, very disappointing, got high hopes for him...

Actually thought Simpkin would have come in for Stanley.
Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

No Waite or Casbolt, I guess that is a factor...Sobraz wrote:Simpkin really stuffed himself by that stupid suspension..

Re: Round 16 Team v Carlton
Both Waite and Casbolt are big outs. Casbolt provided that second big tall forward to help Waite. Means that it will be Rowe most likely Henderson up forward with Kruzer resting up forward.

Waite always kicks the first goal against us.MCG-Unit wrote:Waite is a big out, while Rowe is a good inclusion for them - have a lot of time for him.

Re: Round 16 Team v Carlton
Still think we are undersized down back in any case... If Kruezer or Henderson are predominantly forward, we're still a tall short... (acknowledging Simpkin isn't that tall, but can play keyish back at least)..SainterK wrote:No Waite or Casbolt, I guess that is a factor...Sobraz wrote:Simpkin really stuffed himself by that stupid suspension..

Is that right? Well I'm glad he's out then - maybe Rowe will kick their first goal - meanwhile Riewoldt can kick the first goal of the match !!Con Gorozidis wrote:Waite always kicks the first goal against us.MCG-Unit wrote:Waite is a big out, while Rowe is a good inclusion for them - have a lot of time for him.

Disappointed to see we've got umpire Kamolins again - the betting fixer wearing no. 19 that we got reamed with against the WCE.
