Nettlefold in Italy in June WTF!!!!!
Our fantastic beloved CEO is off on an overseas jaunt to Europe in the middle of the season.
Is this a signal that we are effectively tanking and it's just a case of play out the season and let it meander along until trade and draft period?
Obviously he didn't know about the Milne saga and should be either on plane home today or fired, but nonetheless I find it strange timing.
Thoughts?

People do realise a CEO would work harder in the off season than when the season starts. Geelond CEO just came back from 6 weeks in the states but hey thats different.

Its different because his club have 3 recent flags under their belt, going into a finals series with a good chance of snagging another one, everything is motoring along quiteplugger66 wrote:stinger wrote:SaintPav wrote:CEO's should never take holidays.

He has to have holidays and the busiest time of the year is the off season. We had a 2 week break between games. Makes sense to me. Of course he should have know this would happen though.

Nothing to do with should have known....
Anyhoo,
Agree to disagree.
I just don't really like the guy as a CEO that's all.
My opinion...

No nonsense or derogatory remarks that I can see.
I agree with P66....the CEO of any organisation can take holidays, business trips or any leisure travel when the time is right. He picked a time that onfield meant we were not playing. He had no clue what was about to erupt. He is now working from Italy on the problem. I can't fault him in this instance although I have found fault before.

Poster formerly known as SENsaintsational. More wisdom. More knowledge. Less name.

i have no idea what the pest posted ...i have him on ignore ..don't read his crap...mainly for the sake of the forum...but the creep still follows me around.......if he was right on something..it would have to be a first........there is plenty of time in the post and pre-season for the ceo to take a holiday.....but i guess a week with a bye might suffice.....the milne matter just goes to show that maybe there's never a good time......i retired with six months untaken leave for that very same reason.....

I suppose it is better to accuse someone of something even if you have no idea what is written. pretty much sums you up. I wouldnt waste my time following you around. I just comment when you posts make no sense which means committing a fair bit.

taking holidays during the bye week doesnt seem to be a prob
