new holding the ball rule

Post: # 1329671Post Solar »

Learnt something last night. It is holding the ball if you change direction. This shall not take into account the fake the player was tackled straight away, the tackling player latching onto the arm with the ball. No prior and first holding the ball all night......

hmmmmm

Anyone with some good computer skills able to put the riewoldt holding the ball next to the cloke non holding the ball (wright is the tackler, swings him 360 and cloke drops the ball... which leads to pendles setting up the crim krak) Two of the most inconsistent decisions in history......

As geary said, embaressing.... waters needs to do something ASAP otherwise I wont bother watching anymore because we are 5 goals behind before the first bounce.

I'm with you curly. It is either both players holding the ball or play on. Umps need to be consistent, particularly when the result causes a potential 2 goal difference.

Rooey wasn't HTB, no prior op. Tackled immediately. Seems there's a seperate rule for the Saints.

This ......

Can someone put up a YouTube channel asking questions like this
Another one from last week was the run down and tackle from Anzac day - the Swans get a push in the back decision - later the exact scenario and it is HTB against the Saints.

Maybe this is the only way that 'consistency can be achieved.'
