Kosi needs to come in for Maister
Maister hasn't got any tank. Dropped a couple of sitters. Kosi would have been better.

Definitely can't mark over his head...he's obviously there until we get some talent
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

Lee needs to be an option. Maister can't handle the speed of AFL.

Kosi is gone..wouldn't have got a touch tonight, I would rather try Lee out. The big probem is not Maister, it's the crap midfield effort two weeks running

i think stanley needs to move forward and we need to get the free man in defence working again.

Beau took a great contested mark and presented well
He has dropped two sodas that have possibly cost games in the last two weeks

I wouldn't bring him back next week against GWS. Try and get as many games into players that might be part of the future.

Re: Kosi needs to come in for Maister
Kosi was a great player, a great Saint and a very likeable person. On the day that his head was split open by a gutless hit, and he received a brain injury, his career was effectively over. At best, he was only 90% of what he was before. He used to be able to pick up the ball fromm his boot laces with ease and he had a second sense about where Nick was. No more. Since then, big pack marks have been his only weapon. Beau ain't great, but he is the best we have at the moment.

And next week you lot will be saying... 'Maister needs to come in for Kosi" ... or ..... "Why would the coach go back to Kosi yet again??"

At least Kosi doesn't drop sitters. Maister is only good for a qrterSeaford_Saint wrote:And next week you lot will be saying... 'Maister needs to come in for Kosi" ... or ..... "Why would the coach go back to Kosi yet again??"

Kosi is done. Hoping he will contribute is like sending some WW2 veterans into Afghanistan.
Noble a job they would do, it wouldn't be the right decision.

Re: Kosi needs to come in for Maister
Maister gets back and chases. Kos might get more out of our smalls but you lose the defensive pressure. He was getting back to fill in across half back then sprinting the length of the ground to get back. He wasn't the problem.

Maister did his job how many contests did Milne, Saad or Milera win toinight !
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!
Re: Kosi needs to come in for Maister
No way in hell. Kosi about the last bloke on the list to play at the moment. Would have to be kicking consistent bags at VFL level. Otherwise Maister or Lee. We need to see who can play.
