A lot has been made of the Saints players over the years but I think we can all say with confidence that Len-dog, Rooey and Seany D are just ripper blokes and probably the heart and soul of the club. One gets B & F, one AA and one takes a massive pay cut.

You would have to include a few others as well, namely Big Mac, Dal, Monty, Schnieds, Sammy Fisher, Kosi and there are others as well.
We have a very loyal, close nit group at our Club with a good bunch of young guys coming on.

He did but Reiwoldt plays for the Tigers. As for the pay cut it was part of a contract signed in 2009 and has nothing to do with BJ.

His contract he signed a few years ago was front loaded so next year he gets 500k. A pay cut would be if he was contracted to a mill for 2013 but told the club he would gladly play for 500k.Con Gorozidis wrote:

B&F and AA awards would make you 'a good footballer', nothing to do with being a good bloke… I'm sure Wayne Carey got both and he's a chit bloke.

True but other clubs , three years ago when he was at the peak of his powers, may have offered Roo a million a year including the final year being next year. That means he may have taken a pay cut to stay a Saint.
