It will probably happen but to cheer for it is s.hit.
A bit like people who stood up and cheered when Kosi was subbed the other week. the guy might be past it, and was having a mare, but to treat a Saints player like s.hit shows you aren't a real supporter of the club, just some infantile child who demands things of others that they could never do themselves.

Lance or James??

Re: Saints official delistings
I'm surprised Clarke wasn't on the immediate list, what's his contract like? Just can't see him being at the club next season. I'm not going out of my way to be a Clarke basher... I just think it's time the club and Raph went different ways....

They will wait for the free agency time for Clarke to see if there are any takers IMO.

Totally agree. Some supporters are a disgrace. And you can tell they never followed ud in the 80's when were pathetic. All they would have done is boo after just about every game.

Re: Saints official delistings
There may be a club who will take Raph for a late pick. He's clearly not in Watters' plans

I will forever be haunted by him being tackled by Rooke early in the 09 GF.
Oh wait it was Sam Fisher's fault that Raph has the awareness of a football-hog 7 year old.

Re: Saints official delistings
I wonder if Freo could even be intersted, Raph was very much in Lyon's best 22 here and if anything Raph has probably improved since then. He has excellent defensive skills, decent footskills and is athletic. It's just a shame that he commits his two howlers that cost goals every game. We've already got Gilbert who plays a similar game but is a bit more versatile and doesn't make quite as many mistakes.
Re: Saints official delistings
Am I right in thinking that we re-signed Polo and Peake at the expense of Dawson at the end of last year? If so, significant list management error.

Re: Saints official delistings
it all happened around the same time- when Dawson returned from overseas and didn't like his options....Fidelis wrote:Am I right in thinking that we re-signed Polo and Peake at the expense of Dawson at the end of last year? If so, significant list management error.

Re: Saints official delistings
He had an ordinary GF and while his time is probably up but he played two very good finals beforehand. Some supporters just can't see the good in a player once he is in the gun.The Redeemer wrote:Which is probably for the best.mad saint guy wrote:There may be a club who will take Raph for a late pick. Re: Saints official delistings
Love him or hate him, Dawson probably would have played more games than Peake, Polo, Clarke and even Ray combined this year, Full Back was one of the only positions we couldn't cover. Back flankers we have coming out of our ears.
