I think Saad is great. It's been so long since we've had a new draftee just walk into the team and fit in at AFL level. Onwards and upwards.

and maybe put some forward pressure on more than one or two times a match.

Set shots very good...

On the run needs to learn a lot including when to dish it off...and to not take on players so much.

For a first year player playing as a small forward he has an outstanding year. If he can round out his judgement he should be a long-term very good small forward for us.

He is not another Milne...for his bag of tricks is different....but he needs to develop his smarts.
Saad has been a big win for us this year.

And how long before they bring in a new rule for umps to call "play on" 5 seconds after he lines up for goal?

I love the bloke! Consistently good with the ball, and an excitement machine. Has a very bright future with us!

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

I love his style of walking in.

But knowing our luck they'll make an example out of him while the likes of Franklin continue on their merry way with their natural arc, etc.

He's great.
If only Milney was 10 years younger.
It would be magic to see the two of them at their peak together.

I'm convinced one day Saad will just hypnotise himself on that walk in and keep going till he walks into the man on the mark :D

Dead-eye, tackles well, but his decision-making is still VFL paced. Needs to think quicker and be crisper in his delivery. Hesitates and is easily caught with the ball.

Got the skills, for a guy who has played a couple of years, he is great. He will keep on learning as well.

his action has a lot of personality tbh. It was really annoying the cats but his discipline was amazing.

Love to see him play 300 for st kilda and score 600 goals.

Saad has had a outstanding first year I would say. I do think he does need to learn to do the simple things better. Once he settles into the pace of the game more and do bread and butter type stuff he will be near unstoppable. Milne has to stay on another year just for him to be able to teach Saad and Milrea for another 12 months.

On Saads run up, I love it and it shows he is very mentally strong. I think from now on whenever he is taking a set shot we need a wisthle and clap like its a big fast bowler coming in!

He holds the ball perfectly still when having a set shot
Unlike most players who wobble the ball on to the boot

Loved the dish off to Milney on the goal line

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.
