Re: Goddard???
Needs to be played loose in defence. Can't win a contest to save his life. Not strong enough in the marking contest and too slow when the ball is loose.

Re: Goddard???
Ray was dropped for BJ.
As it turns out I am confident Ray would have been much better value.
BJ needs to play a blinder in the last quarter, but looks unlikely too.

Not even worth letting go. His value has gone down, we'd be lucky to get a 2nd rounder as compo

Personally I'd like to see him applogise for ripping his team mates off today with his complete lack of effort for most of the game. We were essentially a man down today.Hurricane wrote:Personally id like to see him go down to Sandy for a week or 2 and get some form and confidence back.

Re: Goddard???
His form line demands no more than 250k per year. Maybe we keep him on a reduced contact?

Yeah to be fair to Goddard he certainly wasn't alone in the lack of effort department.Jacks Back wrote:Make that 2 with Saad only having 4 possessionsCairnsman wrote:Personally I'd like to see him applogise for ripping his team mates off today with his complete lack of effort for most of the game. Re: Goddard???
Yes, I'm afraid I have to agree with most posters on this thread. Certainly needs a game @ Sandy in my opinion after todays "effort". On the strength of his game today it's time to trade!

Re: Goddard???
Rumor file this week said his going to Carlton in return we get Hanson? Seems he has a touch of Cloke syndrome, absolutely have loved BJ but this year he has been so disappointing.
Re: Goddard???
It's time to play Goddard as a KPP.
CHF.
Riewoldt at FF. Kosi in the ruck, drifiting up forward.

Re: Goddard???
My thought exactly. He didnt add too much value today. Needed to switch forward after Siposs went off as forwards were generally beaten.ROLS-LEE wrote:6 possessions after half time.
Elite?
Just does not look like he is working hard enough.
Just put him forward or do something different.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Re: Goddard???
Should that happen, I'd take the extra salary cap space and a suitable draft pick/exchange of draft picks. Do NOT want Hansen or ANY of their rucks - yes that includes Kruiser and Warnock!saint1974 wrote:Rumor file this week said his going to Carlton in return we get Hanson? In fact, thinking about it, Murphy aside, I don't think I'd want anybody from Carlton's list. They are all either over paid +/- over hyped +/- mentally soft front runners, or merely GOPs. So definitely, salary cap space and draft pick/s from Carlscum, not players.
