Less than a minute till halftime, we're up by a couple of goals and Gram gets in on halfback. Rather than milk the clock, kick to safety and nurse our 2 goal lead into halftime he takes the game on and goes forward, resulting in a goal and 3 goal lead.
Clearly a different approach to the past few years.
I was a Ross Lyon fan, absolutely... but I just loved this key moment in the game.
What I loved the most

Great to see the players pushing forward and backing themselves.
Love what Ross did for the club. Cleary his job brief was 'here and now', just a pity it didn't work out 100%.
It was an absolute pleasure of a game Monday night. Hadn't felt like that since mid 2009.

i feel exactly the same way shmic re the similar feeling i was given like 2009
our pressure was top notch monday and we gave them no easy touches.
we've set an example that we have to follow now - and if we could play like that week in week out....NOTHING IS BEYOND US

Loved our pressure and intensity and even contribution. Seemed like everyone contributed something. Loved our ability to hurt them offensively through a number of options. Very hard to pick the 3,2,1
