What did Milney say?
In the incident where Milney had his jumper half torn off, did I hear him say something quite politically incorrect?

Elaborate? Was he having a go at Zac Touhy?GrumpyOne wrote:In the incident where Milney had his jumper half torn off, did I hear him say something quite politically incorrect?
I loved seeing Milne go straight to Joseph after he ducked his head and spilled the mark. For such a pretend-tough guy he really buggered it up (Joseph)

Yes, and I loved it too, but I don't think the use of the word "Retard" was necessary.

He and Joseph are going out for a beer after next Sundays games and Monday recovery.
Think he said to Joseph See you Next tuesday.
Nice of him to be so friendly

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

We all say things in the heat of any moment. Just because he is on television makes it no different.GrumpyOne wrote:Yes, and I loved it too, but I don't think the use of the word "Retard" was necessary.
Everyone has arguments whereby they say things that are probably not too suitable for viewing...so fair is fair and no need to be so PC

Re: What did Milney say?
If my beloved Milney said it, I'm sure it was erudite, concise, and told them where to go!
Geez I love Milney...I'm getting some pics from last night as my new screen saver!

You can listen to Bristle tell you Carlton are still a massive chance at 28 points down with two minutes to go, you can listen to him tell you all about Lorne, or you can watch a monkey on a pushbike...I know which I prefer...
Re: What did Milney say?
What didn't he say. What a spray. And when Milney gives a spray it is like being in a 4d cinema, spit everywhere.

Re: What did Milney say?
Precious Blues supporters upset about swearing? You have GOT to be kidding..?? Did these same supporters not hear what was hurled across the fence at Milne? Seriously, are we becoming that precious? Would the outrage be there if they had won? I don't think so.....
Keep bleating Blues supporters. LOVING IT!!!!!!

If anyone has the right to give a spray it's Milney given what he has to put up with week after week.

Re: What did Milney say?
Some old dear rang SEN to complain about the naughty language used at one of her precious Carlton players.
Madam, if you had to endure some of the language over the past few years, and of course the Carlton player was inno-cent, then you'd be throwing it back.
I didn't hear the comments but apparently on SEN this morning Robert Walls commented on some of the comments coming from Carlton supporters near the bench and said he was ashamed to be a Carlton supporter.
Hence the Milney chant from our supporters each time he kicked a goal.

Re: What did Milney say?
bit of banter doesnt hurt any one, he was giving as much as he was taking ( joseph is not innocent either)
Re: What did Milney say?
So did he call someone a retard?.. Or an F,C etc??... Weak??... Good on him, all is above board and fair game..
None of that even comes close to what Milney gets week after week.. Not only from opposition players (and coaches) but from over the fence...
Boy did he shove it up them last night...

Re: What did Milney say?
Milne completely rattled the s*** out of the entire carlton football club with that goal and sledge.
"You're a f****** retard" was clearly what he said to the carlton player. Could hear it on the TV. hehe
Absolutely spot on comment from Milney

Re: What did Milney say?
Loved the MILNEY chant. Came through loud and clear in Switzerland.
It was funny how they focsued on the cheer squad who were mouthing something totally different and inaudible.

And his celebration was one of the best I've seen. It was like he was riding Black Caviar.

Re: What did Milney say?
I don't care what he said tbh - but it was the F and C word with weak thrown in which I think was a fairly accurate description of the actions by the young Carlton man - the Mr and I had a giggle and moved on.
