Depends, usually no. We nearly lost our car one night in 2008 against Carlton and it was pretty scary. That's why I don't like going there.

I typed up a long message shortly after i got home.... but stuffed up posting it somehow... so here's an abbreviated version...

CRAP EFFORT FROM THE FOLLOWING:
- All regular "Ethiad Saints Supporters" who didn't turn up (I get many folk can't becuase of small kids, money, geography etc etc, but those of you who don't turn up because it's at the MCG, SHAME SHAME SHAME)
- 90% of those who DID TURN UP!!!... Piss weak effort in the crowd - especially down the Punt Road End.... our (No) Cheer Squad is just so pathetic

I felt like an interstate supporter tonight...... a sea of "Wees and Poos" in the crowd.... and bugger all noise from the Red White & Black

Not surprised at the lack of numbers supporting us there tonight. Was exactly the same for almost all of last season (at all venues) as well. Tonight was no different.

I've been to probably 90% of our games in Melbourne since I was 11 and only miss games under exceptional circumstances, but I have to say I definitely prefer to watch us at Etihad. Hard to beat a comfortable indoor stadium where you have a great view of the game.

Yep, I agree. No excuse not to go if you are a paid member. Entry was free. I think on level 2 in the section I was sitting in, I was the only one in our area making any noise.

To those who have reserved seats, the seating at the G was fantastic. Even had a social club room set up.

Seriously, a weak effort. Good on those who made the effort. Met some regulars there tonight who always make the games regardless of where the venue is.

My favourite ground is Etihad, but ---

*The MCG is a world class venue
*Finals are played there
*Our players need to experience outdoor games in rain, wind & heat.

Anyway, tonight was our Home Game. We (members) had already paid for it.

For casual supporters $23 is not expensive for a nights' entertainment. If necessary, bring your own food - I do!

I too don't like the G at night, still I caught the train from Lara and then another one from southern cross, all together 80 minutes including connections "one way" ,arrived back home past midnight, so guys toughen up the saints need our support, and the only way as to give it for us is attending the games and let them know we are there behind them.

Maybe a bigger problem is all these friggin night games we've had since the start of 2010.

NO other Melbourne based club has as many night games as us.

This season, in our first 8 games, we are fixtured 5 night, 3 twlight and ZERO day games!

We are always there rain, hail or shine. Even at the G, which is, by the way a crap venue.

Only highlight of the night was getting a photo of the boy with Terry Milera in the Medalist Bar after the game.
