Milne needs to go!
Once again he lets us down. I'm sick of seeing him make error after error. Drop him and keep him dropped!

Re: Milne needs to go!
Mate bit harsh but I must admit I nearly spat my tongue out when he marked 15m out and played on and ran around the man on the mark and kicked it around his body and missed. That was the old Milne and I thought it was hugely selfish. He needs to go back to what Ross taught him and that is go back and have set shot.

Re: Milne needs to go!
Milne is playing absolutely shockingly. If it was anyone else, he would be dropped.
Re: Milne needs to go!
99% of the time he kicks it.
Milne's problem tonight was not Milne, it was the erratic delivery to the forward line.

Can't accept that when you mark on the goal line...almost. Go back and do the team thing.battye wrote:99% of the time he kicks it.

Re: Milne needs to go!
He's a game-breaker. He was trying things, not all of it came off. As the commentators say....'he'd be disappointed with that'.
Ballantyne did well up the ground, linking play up, and running our defenders around. He won the points I'm sad to say....

Thought Ballantyne was very ordinary.

Re: Milne needs to go!
Agree he has been poor by his standards for most of the year, so whats missing? Schneids? Pressure from Saad breathing down his neck. He'll come good though he is a star and wont get dropped.

You guys are off your Rocking Follers if you think that the Saints would be better without Milne.

Re: Milne needs to go!
Milney does need to do more , however he wasn't our worst tonight .
How come he can get elbowed in the face and not get a fifty metre penalty and then later get his head ripped off and get nothing ?

What about his delivery to Milera in the last qtr. Unspeakable. I nearly vomited.battye wrote:99% of the time he kicks it.

Re: Milne needs to go!
Started the season poorly I'll admit. Plenty of credits in the bank though.
Interesting comments yesterday from Scotty Watters saying that Ballantyne had probably overtaken him as the best small forward in the league.
Trying to fire him up perhaps?

I haven't heard the interview, but it seems like a pretty strange thing to say. Plenty of better ways to fire someone up than to indirectly belittle them.dcstkfc wrote:Started the season poorly I'll admit. Plenty of credits in the bank though.

Re: Milne needs to go!
Should be first picked every week, the bloke wins games by himself. The day he retires is the day we lose 50-60 goals a year, most of them freakish, if we are on the way down, let his wizardry give us some joy!!!
Re: Milne needs to go!
Ok, so he wasnt an effective forward.
Whats his defensive forward like?
Any tackles?
The guy had no offensive or defencive impact on the game.
