It's not illegal, just very hard when they can't tell you how much!! This year cheer squad membership is an all in price apparently, not an add on as has been the case in past years, but even then I'm not sure as there has been no communication from the club.plugger66 wrote:Why? I hear what some of you are saying, and I have no probs with your comments as far as "getting on the 'phone and just doing it" goes. However, in my own defence (IF I need one ) I DID contact the club before Christmas and was told by a very nice and helpful lady that literature was going to be sent out in January. I have found it necessary to make some changes to the level/category of my membership from 2011. so its not JUST a simple matter of "rolling over" last years m/ship.
I had an adult-16 game-social club-reserved seat-Cheer squad membership in 2011 (plus an Age subscription) Simple economics have compelled me to re-adjust my membership for 2012. When I attempted to get clarification on costs I was told that "cheer squad members would be getting renewal forms with all the prices etc outlined" and that thse would be received in JANUARY. I rang today and was told that these would now be coming out in FEBRUARY. I'm not exactly sitting on my arse waiting for membership to materialise (though I can see how I may have given that impression) I'll simply not make any more comment on the issue as I'm not helping the situation. I thought however, that I would be allowed to express my disappointment? It seems that we have problems every year with renewals.

I am delighted to report that as I have "email" as my preferred method of contact I only received my renewal information via email!
In previous years I have received at least 2 emails (even after renewing from the first one), 2 to 3 "snail mail" membership renewal/brochures before February & one year even a phone call asking why I hadn't renewed & if I was going to!!
From my experience the club have "DELIVERED" on their promise to improve the membership renewal experience!

scarfs have 3 spelling mistakes as we all know

and we asked for last years social club medallion to be sent out along with the membership packs
and sure enough, not sent.
