Laidley: Age states that he will be assistant coach
Page 3 of The Age Sports Section today stated that Laidley will fill one of the two vacant assistant coaching positions at the Saints.
With last week's departure of Robert Harvey to Collingwood, Laidley will fill one of the two remaining assistant coaching positions.
First time I recall seeing it as will, rather than may..... (may be just slack journalism though....)

No doubt Port is just plain crap in every aspect on and of the field. You can hardly blame him for any of the Port rubbish on laiey. As for the thing on Bali, I am sure we didnot here the full storyCon Gorozidis wrote:Cool punch ons with his kid every school holidays.
On the surface I think he is a good fit. We need a bad cop for watters good cop.
Out of interest was laidley useless at port or is their list bad beyond help?
I love this club
Two more traditional line coaches I'd say.bobmurray wrote:Why are they saying 2 vacant Assistant coaching positions..
Harvey
Berbakov
King
They are the ones that left
When i went to school that was 3....i know that was a long time ago.....but.....
In most cases the ruck coach is a part-time specialist.

Written by Caro so we don't know whether there is some inside info (nothing coming from the club lately) or it is just Caro SPECULATING as she often does. Time will tell !!saintsRrising wrote:Page 3 of The Age Sports Section today stated that Laidley will fill one of the two vacant assistant coaching positions at the Saints.

I reckon he'll fit right in with all the dramas St Kilda has had over the last 12 months!!
Another opportunity awaits!
