I know that but if he was in a star midfield like ours it might release him more ie: no tagging....

Compare their f****** footskills. Gram is f****** soft and can't f****** kick. If he had either I'd respect him more

Pearce can play IMO .. quick and good skills especially by foot..if the asking price wasn't too high you would have to look at him !

Only if we're swapping players. I wouldn't give any of our first couple of draft picks for him.

He can actually kick. That would be a good start.

I'd prefer to keep Lynch. He's still young and shows quality. We need to be offloading our ageing fringe players, if possible.

I would trade him for Gram in a heartbeat tbh.

Maybe he'll end up at Carlton and they'll be able to replicate the famous "Pearce off, Gibbs on"?

I'm hearing BM on this but I've always thought Pearce would benefit from a change of scene. He is gifted and could be anything with a nice big cup of concrete and a bit of belief. New systems, new start might do wonders.

But lets be honest we are not in roll the dice on a maybe kinda territory are we....

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

I doubt it. There would have to be another club involved.

Gram > Essendon
Hille > Port (need a ruck)
Pearce > Saints

I reckon he could play a similar role to Leon Davis this year. Good skills and speed. An unaccountable role like that suits him.

If he was dropped for poor form and couldnt get a game in a rubbish side like Port Adelaide I dont see why we would need or want him.

He has pace and better skills than Gram and a few others but would we be getting another recycled dud rather than promoting from within?

If we get him for super cheap (3rd rounder maybe) and he turns out well ill be happy but very suprised

It's hard to promote within when our best pick over the last few years has been pick 20.
