Was Suma upset? I hate these coaches that go around thinking this kind of behaviour is OK.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

His name was mentioned here and there but I think you're right.

It's interesting though because Lyon from all reports appeared to struggle in recent years to attract really top notch assistants. Yet now he's at Freo he manages within the space of a few weeks to snare Worsfold's right hand man - and at a point in time where the Weagles look on the verge of achieving something great.

I suppose Lyon's reputation for driving his assistants into the ground hasn't made it across the Nullabor yet.

Hope he's happy to work the long hours demanded by the new coach.

For a bloke like the new Fremantle coach who declared his family were "his purpose" 80 hours a week must have meant the family didn't exactly see him a lot. No wonder they all left.

Plus throw in the hours he must have spent trying to work out how he had such massive losses plus selling properties to recoup losses, he would have hardly been home.

Good luck to Mrs Sumich waiting for hubby to come home late at night.

i read newspaper report that said burns did not get the crows job because he told them "hard truths about their list" at the interview and that sanderson said there list was good and they could challenge straight away.

we arent even interviewing burns?

I don't believe he's gone for any of the Melbourne coaching jobs, just the Crows gig.

Yep;

SOS didn't want to travel down there so he moved to GWS

Tudor didn't want to travel down there so he moved to Sydney

Berbekov didn't want to travel down there so he moved to Sydney

Lyin didn't want to travel down there so he moved to Freo

Yep, Its SEAFORD alright. Should we burn the place down? !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

getting a better job for more money elsewhere sounds reasonable to me. should they be shackled to a particular club for life?

Needed to counter-balance Lyin's attacking and offensive flair, no doubt. He's in for a treat and will last one year if he's lucky.

Whether people want to accept it or not, the Seaford location is turning the "best people" away. If you are good enough in football terms to nail what you want, why would you want to travel to Seaford?

Malthouse lives near the inner city. Money is not his key driver, so why would he want to travel to Seaford every day until whatever hour? Transpose that thought to the likes of other top people e.g. Misson - the same result.

I know the response - if they pay you enough, what does it matter - many posters may travel an hour or more every day. Gents, it's about "choice." If you can get the same job, the same money in a more stable organisation, why would you want to travel to Seaford, if you don't have to ???

What a lot of crap. Got any proof at all. MM has retired from coaching. Nothing to do with Seaford.
