he should coach.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Sorry I thought you meant Tommy. Who were you referring to that Walsh, our new coach would want to keep on?True Blue Sainter wrote:Wait, I thought Tommy was going to be captain-coach ?!Old Mate wrote:Why would the coach sack our new captain????True Blue Sainter wrote:If he's still in Australia - how do we know the new coach will want to keep him on?

As far as I am aware, it is not just Saints fans who rate him. I have a friend who is involved in recruitment at another club and he has been flabbergasted all year that he hasn't gotten a game. He also says that Walsh is about one of three kids on our listed that are actually rated externally, but that's another story...True Blue Sainter wrote:If he's still in Australia - how do we know the new coach will want to keep him on?
So FWIW, I can't see any coach coming in and offloading one of the more promising prospects we have. For once it seems that Saintsational hasn't over-hyped a player...

f*** me do you absolutely have to be an arrogant, sarcastic f*** everytime you touch a keyboard ????
When are the phantoms that pass as mods here actually gonna pull you up for trolling, because reality is that it's pretty much what your "contribution" is.
You're a f****** oxygen thief.

If O'hAlpin can get a game at Carlton and in a semi-final mind you, and after the guy has had a fair few opportunities, then I reckon our boy Tommy can also be a valuable contributor.
He just needs what every other debutant needs. A mentor and assistant coaches to be given the nod from the head coach to teach and provide guidance and I'm sure the team can utilise Tommys current strengths...if you are a Ross Lyon style of head coach, then ofcoarse you don't even look at him...you look at the delistings from other clubs and start working out what 'role' they might play...LOL
heard a rumour about Tommy and AFL football....
stay tuned....

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)
