I can't seem to open the file. What's he done?
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

The Barkly closes at 1am..HSVKing wrote:Heard that a high profile Collingwood player was seen looking a bit seedy around 6am outside 'The Barkly' this morning.
If he was wandering around at 6, he'd have been there after trading hours or in one of the hotel rooms...
Knowing what goes on up there, they'd want to be drug testing him right now..
Just quoting someone who saw him.Sobraz wrote:The Barkly closes at 1am..HSVKing wrote:Heard that a high profile Collingwood player was seen looking a bit seedy around 6am outside 'The Barkly' this morning.

I have no ideas on it's business hours, but it is known that he doesn't like being woken up early, so not sure why he was out and about.
FYI on Fev;

"The two parties that had left by the time police arrived,'' spokeswoman Sharon Darcy said.
"However I can advise that a 30-year-old from Brighton was not involved and in fact removed himself from the area where the altercation had occurred.''
So he wasn't involved. Just someone trying to cause more trouble it would seem.
They walk amongst us...
Christ you people make me laugh.
One thread having a go at Triple M for a rumour on Sam Gilbert is scoffed at.
Then this one with nothing more than the 3AW rumour file, which is nothing more than a muck raker, is believed and a guy is hung drawn and quartered.
It just depends on what you want to believe isn't it?

Was he out and about? Or just swanning around?
They will not grow old, as those from more northern States grow old.
For them it will always be three-quarter-time, with the scores level
and the wind advantage in the final term.

Its like the old, did you see Fev go goalless and get reported as Casey got smashed, how could you ever want him anyway he is washed it... vs.... Fev's last 10 or so weeks of awesome form. Or, why would you get him he doesn't chase or tackle, yet, Kosi and Roo aren't exactly role models in this sense. Or better still, he points and complains to teammates, errr, BJ and Roo aren't exactly 'saints' in this regard either.
It is worrying for his prospects as he will always have this sort of innuendo and rumour follow him around. A bit sad for a bloke who was a binge drinker, wore a dildo on a nightie in public and lost all his money on gambling.
Yet, a filth player will probably play in a premiership side a few years after nearly killing a bloke and going to jail. Gee i hope Eddie doesn't read this...
I'd actually love to see a list of players in the AFL who have had an issue with violence, alcohol, drink driving, drugs or sexual misconduct. I'm guessing the list would top 50. Either way, this publicity will almost kill off any chance of him getting picked up, whether he is innocent or guilty.
