Lenny Hayes - is he any chance for September????

Post: # 1116136Post Seaford_Saint »

Does anyone have a definitive answer based on fact regarding whether Lenny has any chance to make a comeback in September?

Putting aside the risks of another breakdown and match fitness... is he any sort of chance at all??

Does anyone know if he's started running? If so, is it only in straight lines? Any idea how far away he is from contact work?

I do remember Libba making an amazing comeback from an ACL in around 12 weeks..... I reckon they have similar physical compositions below the waist.

Probably hoping against hope, but just thought I would ask the question

No chance at all.
Any serious knee injury is 12 months before you are back to 100%

Other option is to cut his legs off and have him crawl around. He'd still find a way to rack up 30 touches and 10 tackles :P

he spoke to SEN before the game, mentioned that he'd starting running this week but that doesn't mean training-type running, just 4 laps of walk 50 m, jog 100 m. also mentioned he'd be ready for the first week of pre-season. so to answer your question, no chance from how he was talking.

100% no chance. If there are 13 draws in the GF he may be a slight chance.

I think we will be very careful with Lenny given his age & also that he had done his knee before (though not the same), we will be lucky to see him for the first week of NAB cup 2012.

Thats my opinion.

No offence but that opinion can't possibly be based on any knowledge. He will be fit and available come NAB cup next year (unless another part of his body prevents that).
