has anyone laid eyes on crocker at sandy? what's the deal here - why is he in the sandy reserves? it's a long way down from playing a couple of nab cup games to vfl reserves.

Might be wrong but I think it's his first game back from injury.
Re Crock, I think it's mainly that whilst he's talented, he's 70kg and Sandy wouldn't want such a small body in their senior side if they can help it.

nah, he actually played the first and last preseason games, then played the two sandy practice matches, then has been dropped to the reserves for the real stuff.

fair enough. all our draftees are about that size, though. ledger only 70, cripps 73, andreoli 74, curren 76. (unreliable weights from official site.) i suppose if you're good enough you can make up for it, but some of them have to miss out.
