Gram - we have lost the hunger
on SEN.
- Blokes still thinking about 2 lost GF's
- need to get over it
- hunger to win not there
- RL told the group that there will be an injection of youth (hopefully Stanley, Jack and heyne at least)
- some players are just looking to play out their last year.
Pretty strong stuff.'
However on the past two performances, we wont even make the eight.
Do we have to go backwards this year to have a crack in 2012?

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Ross needs to come out and show some balls, players in this team EXPECT to be picked week on week and often do, despite pathetic performances! Put a bit of pressure on the playing group by making them aware of the younger guys pushing up below them (Cripps, Winmar, Stanley, Jack, Heyne e.g.) that want their spots!
UP THE SAINTERS!

Gilbert should hang his head in shame, Dal Santo was a waste of space, and peake should never get a game again.

Gram won't make an effort unless it lands on him...right on him. And when it does, he looks genuinely surprised to have the ball! Very odd.
I spoke to a Tiger mate during the week, about Hardwick's bizarre "We can't drop the bad players, because they're good players" comment, and he said "Deledio"...which suddenly made sense. Gram and Gilbert are those players for us. I can't see how they'll get dropped, even though they should.

grams comments are spot on.
we need to start looking at players 29+ and immediately dropping their game time unless its hayes, roo or fish (dont remember their age).
blake: we seem to be carrying too many backmen. its gilbert or blake. not both. oh and stop playing them out of position up fwd. gilbert has alot more years left in him. blake is near retirement age. gone.
baker: its dempster or baker. not both. see blake. baker is old and gone.
thats a start.

They're spot on...for Gram. He's the one that needs to extract a digit. Baker or Dempster? Neither in the shortish term. Both have to go, Baker due to age, Dempster due to ability.defacto wrote:grams comments are spot on.

Well, he was telling it like it is. he has never been a tough in and under player, maybe he has also lost the hunger.mullet wrote:Yep well Gram didnt look too bloody hungry to bend over and get the ball when it was in our forward line in the last quarter. Hate to say it but he squibbed it. Mirror time grammie
instead of attacking Gram look at the comment that RL will be injecting youth into the team.
isn't that what everyone has been crying out for?

He didnt need to be tough or in and under just needed to attack the ball and he didnt.joffaboy wrote:Well, he was telling it like it is. he has never been a tough in and under player, maybe he has also lost the hunger.mullet wrote:Yep well Gram didnt look too bloody hungry to bend over and get the ball when it was in our forward line in the last quarter. funny thing is this just might the game that is the start of our next challenge.
i have a feeling that hayes is gone for a large part of this season.
i think at the end of this year the retirements will be:
- hayes
- gardiner
- baker
next year:
- blake
- milne
if gram keeps the same consistancy then he's trade/delist. same for peake. ray/dempster/clarke will be ok.

Pot kettle black from Gram.
Time and again Ive seen soft 1 arm attempts at tackles and tonight in the fwd line when he had the chance to go.....he squibbed it allright.
Has to join Baker, Blake on the outside from now. These guys are our "Obree, Lockyers, Medhurst's"........decision time Ross....show some balls.

Dunno, but I'd be lying if I'm not a little excited at the prospect of finding out.degruch wrote:You may be right, but who are our Sidebottom's, Beam's, Dawes'?Teflon wrote:Pot kettle black from Gram.
