How many errors and inaccuracies can you spot? I lost count. Email starts now.
Note I have set the timeline of this from 2009 GF, it does not include the hiring of Grant Thomas and sacking of Blight, or anything prior to this time. Otherwise I would have needed a better zip file compressor to transmit over e-mail.
1) Put Luke Ball on the bench for more than 50% of 2009 GF. Lost by two goals after leading into time on. Ball almost BOG
2) Decided to try to force Luke Ball to stay rather than try to make a deal with Collingwood. Apparently Wellingham, Goldsack and maybe even Nathan Brown were on the table. Riewoldt apparently said N Brown was a dud in these negotiations.
3) Ross Lyon says to Ball after stifling negotiations “good luck getting to f… Collingwoodâ€

If the person who wrote this is serious, I hope they enjoyed the pies winning the flag, it is obviously the best thing they have going in their lives right now.
I must admit though, it was very informative, I didn't know Roo sat in on trade discussions and gave 2 word summaries of all players put on the table.

Someone who supports one of the once-great teams of the old VFL like Essendon for example?
Here is most other teams' summary of the last few years.
1. Enjoy 'dream' pre-season. Boys fit and ready to go.
2. Club President trying to bump up membership, uses every gimmick he can short of baring his b*m in Bourke St
3. After disappointing first five rounds (no wins) begin 'tanking' in earnest in pursuit of draft picks.
4. Best and fairest count held first week of September, as planned.
5. Club President tells supporters to be patient, 'big things' expected next year.
6. Enjoy 'dream' pre=season. Boys fit and ready to go.
7. No wins again in first five rounds, begin 'tanking' then realise there's no point...Gold Coast will get all the top draft picks. Go back to trying to win, but lose most remaining games anyway.
8. Best and fairest count brought forward to August. Whole senior team having operations or on rest and recreation break. Club represented by VFL affiliate players for last four rounds.
