I think I read somewhere that the AFL were forcing Essendon to create a genuine clash jumper for 2011....I could be wrong though...

People whinge about our away jumper but our home jumper changes every year and no one cares. i reckon our away looks just as good as those anyway.

The changes to the home jumper are minimal. Slight tweaks. That's why people don't care.

Personally, I think our current clash jumper is average at best, would love to see us use our home jumper with a white back instead.

That might have been an article by Caro back in June. I think it said "strongly encourage", not force and that means that there is every chance that Essendon can & will thumb their noses at it !!

Its NOT about whether our away jumper looks any good or not, its about the PRINCIPLE of the whole matter. That being that we are forced to wear our clash jumper at home games because the away team refuses to provide a realistic clash jumper and the governing body refuses to stand up to their bully-boy tactics !!

Well I'll will take the away jumper and you can worry about the princple. I couldnt give a flying fig about that. Good luck to the Dons and Pies and good luck to us selling all those new away jumpers every 2-3 years.
