Re: Armo
There's more than one Trade table doing the rounds. More tables than Ikea actually!westy wrote:If David Armitage has signed for one year, why is he listed as being on the Trade table along with Raph?
Which one are you referring to westy?
Re: Armo
Because you can trade contracted players if they agree to be traded...westy wrote:If David Armitage has signed for one year, why is he listed as being on the Trade table along with Raph?

No offence #1GILL, but what would John Longmire know about it?#1GILL wrote:He's staying for one more year, and if he doesn't think that he gets enough opportunities then he will move clubs at the end of next year.
If we feels that he's been given a fair go and that he has a future at the Saints after next year then he will sign a 2-3 year deal.
From the horses mouth.

The problem with horses is they can run but they don't play football well enough to earn their place.#1GILL wrote:He's staying for one more year, and if he doesn't think that he gets enough opportunities then he will move clubs at the end of next year.

Can we turn our horses into footballers.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

If we give the horse a big enough chance at it rather than dropping him after only 1-2 matches then I think we can turn him into a footballer.ace wrote:The problem with horses is they can run but they don't play football well enough to earn their place.#1GILL wrote:He's staying for one more year, and if he doesn't think that he gets enough opportunities then he will move clubs at the end of next year.

To be honest I doubt anyone would be anything but mildly interested in Armo, and would pay more then a 4th rounder for him atm.SainterK wrote:The fact he signed for 12 months makes we wonder if it's GWS sniffing around.
GWS could get others players just as easily as Armo and still pay nothing for them.

Rumour has it Essendon offered a 2nd rounder for him, but the Saints rejected it.ausfatcat wrote:To be honest I doubt anyone would be anything but mildly interested in Armo, and would pay more then a 4th rounder for him atm.SainterK wrote:The fact he signed for 12 months makes we wonder if it's GWS sniffing around.
