Does anybody think that Max leaving the Saints and going to coach at the Pies has been a big part of their drastic improvement this year?
He would have known our zones and set ups perfectly being a defender, and it seems to me like the Pies have just employed an improved version of Ross's work.
Almost like taking Ross's set-up and adding a bit of Mick Malthouse coaching brilliance (Don't argue he's not a great coach- he is).
Any thoughts?
Does anybody think....

I think there is no doubting it would have had some impact. There defense has improved this year and bloody maxwell's run of half back is mirror like to what Gram and Goddard can do.
In Ross Get lost!
