The dwarf manchild.....is he something?

Post: # 986383Post saintspremiers »

Very odd to see a player (Bulldogs newbie) that is only 172 centimetres high and similar wide.

Looks like Libba's nephew or something!

With one game under his belt, is he capable of scoring a couple of goals?

Didn't seem too quick, but is certainly very strong.

Thoughts?

I would not worry about him. He got only 5 touches & got a free for high tackle & converted.

Our defence is very strong & his nerves will be high to handle.

Having said that who will get him?

Did someone say "Libba"?

This always comes to mind when he is mentioned around this time of the year :(

89-66. How did they lose that one?

Good call by Kevin Bartlett too telling Morphett that he was going a bit early with the GF talk.

Although, to be fair, Drew wasn't the only one getting ahead of himself that year.

I thought he had a bit of an Adam Schneider look about him.

Well, they're both short and fat.

At the moment, that's where the similarities end. :D

I expected the kid to be quick - to be honest watching him at the ground he looked slow! Hate to say it but I was puzzled as to what the dogs see in him. The young kid Blair for the pies (also a shortarse) is a far better player I reckon.

I'd say they just wanted to inject some freshness into the side. Something new, different, to get a bit of a buzz going within the 22.

Youth can do that.

They could've brought 4-5 players in who had some experience but it wouldn't have had the same effect. They weren't looking for a match-winner, just freshness and excitement to liven things up.

Probably paid off. Little man played his part too; kicked a big goal and won three or four free-kicks.

Put gilbo on him and let him run off. Be like what Fletcher did to Lynch earlier in the year.

Unfair Beej..... Schnieder's fitness has increased dramatically since he came to the Saints. Has moved from a forward pocket player to a midfielder/forward, a role he could never do at the Swans because of his lack of fitness.

No argument from me there.

No doubt his fitness has improved, but I reckon he's still eating well above maintenance.

All that aside, he's as dangerous as anyone else in our side bar BJ with the footy in his hands.

He's St Kilda's short, tubby, pie-eating genius.
