Paul Chapman vs Liam Picken
I know this isn't a direct saints blog but it is saints related. I just watched Paul Chapman going hard at Liam Picken from the bulldogs, similar to the Baker Johnson incidents. He better get sited for something and get some weeks for going for an attack on a player off the ball or it is a joke even though we know it is a joke already! Chapman was doing nothing different to what Baker was doing to Johnson? Lets see what happens?
When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

Bakes plays with bowling balls anyway, so doesn't need the MRP for holidays anymore.

Personally I don’t give stuff about other clubs indiscretions as it doesn’t affect us directly, unless we play them the following week.
All I care about is us winning well this week and doing it with purpose and then moving onto the next game.
It’s all about the St Kilda football club I don’t care about others.
Go Saints - we're moving into the last phase of our season.

Perhaps St Kilda should compile a 'highlights' video of Chapman's behaviour off the ball. You know. Just to help out the MRP and the 'process' generally. The AFL can't expect to see everything. Surely we could be of some assistance as a good 'club citizen' and all round champion of the best interests of the game?
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
I don't subscribe to this theory, as it can certainly affect us come finals time if those players have carry-over points. Another minor indiscretion the week before a big final and it could rub them out against us.Pwoit wrote:Personally I don’t give stuff about other clubs indiscretions as it doesn’t affect us directly, unless we play them the following week.

You keep fighting for the "common good of man" but dont mind the rest of us for pointing out what can only be described as disgraceful hypocrisy.
“Yeah….nah””
Yes it must you feel better thinking the world is against us. Well i'd worry about things the Saints can control like winning the GF.Teflon wrote:cheers Mahatma.plugger66 wrote:Probably not but 2 wrongs doesnt make a right.Solar wrote:none of bakers were eitherplugger66 wrote:Nothing in the Chapman incident. Well if Chapman missed last year's GF we would have won, but take your point, we won't talk about anything else other than the Saints or what you think is OK.plugger66 wrote:Yes it must you feel better thinking the world is against us. Not sure I ever mentioned what others can talk about. I think I only mentioned what is important to me.maverick wrote:Well if Chapman missed last year's GF we would have won, but take your point, we won't talk about anything else other than the Saints or what you think is OK.plugger66 wrote:Yes it must you feel better thinking the world is against us.
