Anyone see Open Mike - Dipper rates Roo

Great interview with Dipper tonight. He spoke very highly of Nick and his mark going with the flight against Sydney.

Roo is a bit out of sight, out of mind at the moment...nice to see someone talking about him.

I'll be happy if we can develop a gameplan that shares the scoring burden around a lot more, and gets more goal from our mids - instead of over relying on Roo.
Then his comeback will just be icing on the cake.

What's with Robert Walls saying tonight that it is "A BIG IF" if Riewoldt comes back this year!!!
Doesn't Walls believe that his recovery is going to plan or better, and if not, why not?

I think he means coming back the player that he was. No-one really knows. THis op has never been done before as I understand it and is different to re attaching the tendon, which is the operation that Lloyd keeps banging on about. All we can do is have fingers crossed I reckon and in the mean time try and get as many games as possible into Stanley. I really think we have to perservere with him. He's the only true CHF we have aprt from Roo. I like the idea of Fish staying back and helping out our back six. We also have to get back to last year where our back six were really solid and played together week in week out.

Hate to sound like a broken record, but Kosi is the key for us becoming a genuine premiership contender. Looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders right now.

Not in my mind, I think about him 24/7.

The tendon did not tear off the bone. how many times does this have to be said? Lloyd, typically, is talking generalize rubbish. Roo has a different injury, it was successfully treated (will be just as strong), & Rooey's recovery abilities and meticulous prepration means its a very different situation.

Or something like that...
